Judging art is difficult because as objective as we would like to be, our pasts and presents inform how we feel about a given thing and even that can change from moment to moment.
Let’s look to that future. We now know that, yea, some of your faves will breathe again, but however it happens, the universe we have witnessed since Tony Stark was captured and built the first Iron Man suit, will forever be changed.
Brie Larson’s relatively flat performance coupled with stakes that never quite feel personal drag this otherwise enjoyable, if not by-the-numbers, MCU origin story down, if only a little.
While we don’t really know too much about how he’ll be used in the MCU, you can bet that trusting him will lead to nothing but heartache.
Little is known about the horror film but based on the trailer, it seems to be an interesting take on the common home invasion/slasher premise.
This is the best film I’ve seen all year, and I don’t say that statement lightly. A perfect soundtrack, perfect voice acting, rewarding action, a heartfelt story and a necessary retelling.
Don’t let a by-the-numbers plot and cheesy dialogue dissuade you from this CGI extravaganza. What is lost in subtlety is made up for in sheer fun and immersion.
Why in Poseidon’s name is HE getting a movie? Isn’t he the guy that talks to fish and is useless unless he’s in or around water?
On the 6th of December, the Mortal Kombat 11 reveal trailer dropped and it was insanely cool. Based on the events of the previous installments, it seems they’re setting up Raiden to be the villain.
